Science Sunday!
Today was Liam's first trip to the St. Louis Science Center, where he waved hello to a T Rex, learned about nanotechnology, and watched the cars zoom by underneath his feet.
To date, he has accumulated quite a charming vocabulary complete with the words, "Mamam", "Dada", "Hey, Dada", "Dis", "Dat", "Bath", "Ball", "Help", and several other unintelligible-to-anyone-else-but-his-mother sentences. The rockets continue to blast off, although, as his father says, he is the worst mission control ever, as you can never tell when the countdown will end! Someday, we'll get this on video to share.

A backlog of videos
As you can tell from this post and the post preceding, we're a bit behind on posting the videos. Thanks to the generosity of one of our dearest friends, we are able to provide you with live action Liam from time to time. This is a more recent video from this month that gives you a sense of just how much Liam loves water.
Hope you enjoy!
Still more catching up...
Liam the Monkey Bear
November 2010
Speeding through the first year
Coming to terms
Current Stats
Liam recently had his follow-up ENT appointment (after getting tubes six or so weeks ago), and he was weighed a measured there. He is now roughly 30 in. tall and weighs somewhere around 24-25 lbs. Not too bad!
Why is he so scared?
Liam spent much of his first days doing some amazing things, such as "face cycling", which basically consisted of him practicing different facial expressions. I considered it market testing. Sadly, we were unable to catch the cycling in video, but trust us, it was quite scientific and clearly proved that he was a genius from the beginning. :)
Catching Up
Here is a photo montage of our little bear, age 0 through 1 month. (more to follow) I'd like to say I have a photograph for every month, but we weren't that together. Parents of the Year, we are not, but we love our bear, and we like to think that we spent more time playing with him than photographing ourselves spending time with him. That's something, right?
