Newest Word

Much to our relief and joy...and (admittedly) fatigue, Liam has learned the word for "book" and is using it often for many different books. He does have some favorites, which we'll share with you here. Take, for example, his "Go" book...a hand-me-down, I believe. Awhile ago, Liam fell in love with Curious George's adventures going up in a rocket, and for awhile, everything was counting down and taking off. Next time, we'll share with you Hand Hand Fingers Thumb, variations on a theme...many many many variations on a theme...

First Beater Experience

A few weekends ago, Liam helped me bake some raspberry ricotta scones with fresh whipped cream. I couldn't ask for a better sous-chef! All of the berries and cream made him irresistibly sweet...his father couldn't help himself!

July Fun!

Liam discovered his love for two things last month.
1. Ice Cream
2. Playing with paper products. Seen here pulling tissues out of a box in the back of the car.

As if the other picture weren't evidence enough of his love of food, he refused the sandwich we offered him yesterday with this, "Not this. Doughnut!" He is his father's son.

Liam the Lover

So, a quick daycare update...Liam is definitely a lover and has had his first "make-out" session with a girl at school. In his favor, she is a gorgeous toddler...leggy, fair, and very sweet. Apparently there was some cuddling, hugging, and even a kiss or two! They start early these days!!!
